In which situation should you move a person?

Moving a person is appropriate when the area is unsafe. Safety is the top priority in any emergency situation, both for the responder and the victim. In contrast, checking for injuries does not justify moving a person unless safety is at risk. Likewise, an individual's discomfort or responsiveness does not automatically warrant a move, as it is crucial to avoid unnecessary risks that could exacerbate their condition or lead to further injury. The decision to move someone should always prioritize safety above all other considerations.
